The management team of Bradanick Construction Services Inc. is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment to protect the safety of the public, our employees and all workers on our job sites.
As President, I am ultimately responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our health and safety program. Our workers have the right to a safe and healthy workplace. At the end of the day, it’s all about everyone leaving work in the same condition they arrived and heading home to their families.
To achieve this goal, Bradanick Construction Services Inc. has developed a health and safety program manual, which includes a workplace harassment and violence program, to support this Policy. Our program will be read in conjunction with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), Regulations and all other legislation that governs safe work practices as a minimum standard. Of course, we welcome any suggestions on how we might improve our program
Our management team, which includes our President, Managers, Project Supervisors or anyone who supervises another, is responsible and accountable for the health and safety of the workers under their supervision and is to ensure that workers follow established safe work practices and procedures.
It is the responsibility of all workers to protect their safety and the safety of others by understanding their work environment and complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, WHIMIS, and other legislation related to safe work practices and complying with our Workplace Harassment and Violence program.
Safety is everyone’s business and our entire team, including the management team, employees and workers need to work together to implement, maintain and improve our safe working environment. This is achieved by each party meeting their responsiblities under the OHSA, Regulations and other legislation that governs safe work practices.
Jim Storey, President
